I bought a number of things to HomeDepot.com since he became a homeowner five years ago, but unfortunately I found myself more often switching to Lowes.com. There seems to be quite a big difference between what is offered on- line and what is in store. When I found something online that I liked I went to the store to get a similar model or because I did not have time to wait for shipping. The store associates were not even remotely familiar with the products. There are many products that can only be found on- line that caused big problems with their back , when there were problems as being the wrong size or color. HomeDepot.com has a large selection of items , but it's really hit or miss depending on the category. I tend to look at both HomeDepot.com and Lowes.com to compare prices before making a final purchase. The only thing I really do not like is that most of the product descriptions are rather vague.
